    Asociaţia GRAUR continuă demersurile sale sistematice începute prin lansarea Indexului Operelor Plagiate în România de la adresa electronică www.plagiate.ro în direcţia abordării şi combaterii faptelor de plagiat.

    In urma unor studii temeinice ale fenomenului plagiatului ne-am însuşit ideea că orice plagiat are loc cu ştiinţa a cel puţin unei persoane şi această persoană poartă numele generic de „agent favorizator”.

    Am acceptat, de asemenea, că prin „agent favorizator” se înţelege: a) în cazul tezelor de doctorat, agenţii favorizatori sunt instituţia universitară care acordă titlul ştiinţific, conducătorul ştiinţific al tezei şi membrii comisiei de analiză a tezei de doctorat; b) în cazul articolelor, agentul favorizator este publicaţia care a adus la cunoştinţa publicului opera; c) în cazul cărţilor, agentul favorizator este editura.

    Pe viitor, informatia asupra plagiatelor se completeaza cu informatiile asupra "agenţilor favorizatori" şi ea cuprinde atât numele agenţilor cât şi modul concret în care ei au acţionat în vederea valorificării informaţiei privind suspiciunea de plagiat publicată de noi.

    Asociaţia noastră aşteaptă reacţia agenţilor favorizatori astfel încât autorii tezelor de doctorat să procedeze la retractarea acestora iar universităţile, să acţioneze la retragerea titlului ştiinţific acordat în mod fraudulos, revistele să anunţe retractarea articolelor plagiate şi faptul că autorii acestora pierd orice drept de a mai publica în paginile lor, editurile să ceară scuze cititorilor înşelaţi prin publicarea unei opere plagiate şi apoi să anunţe că autorul cărţii plagiate pierde definitiv dreptul de a mai fi publicat de aceea editură.

    Toate acţiunile agenţilor favorizatori vor fi publicate pe www.plagiate.ro spre ştiinţa tuturor persoanelor interesate. Acţiunile agenţilor favorizatori nu sunt în măsură să scoată suspiciunea din Index sau numele agentului din Lista agenţilor favorizatori ci servesc drept dovezi ale bunei credinţe a acestora.

    Prin această acţiune înţelegem să oferim o imagine corectă asupra faptei de plagiat şi a pericolului public pe care aceasta îl reprezintă.

    GRAUR Association continues its systematical demarches started by lanching the Index of Plagiarized Works in Romania at www.plagiate.ro oriented to approach and fight the plagiarism acts.

    As result of deep studies of plagiarism phenomenom we accept the idea that any plagiarism act occurs having as witness at least a person. This witness will be called generically "enhancing agent".

    We also accepted that by "enhancing agent" means:
a) for doctoral thesis, the "enhancing agents" are university institutions which grant the scientific degree, the scientific adviser and the members of the jury;
b) for papers, the "enhancing agent" is the publication where the work was presented to the audience;
c) for books, the "enhancing agent" is the publishing house.

    Further, the "enhancing agents" are included in the information regarding each suspicion together with the acting manner of these by using the discovered suspicions.

    Our association is waiting for "enhancing agents"'s feedback so that the discovered plagiarized works to be retracted. For the doctoral thesis we are waiting for the scientific degree withdrawing.

    All the actions of "enhancing agents" will be updated on www.plagiate.ro for the interested members of the community. The "enhancing agent"'s actions will not remove the suspicion or its name of the Index but they will will serve as evidence of good faith of this.

    By this action we understand to give a more correct and complete image on the plagiarism act and its public danger.
